ABOUT US...

A small, hard-working consulting firm based in Herefordshire. Newly established in 2013, we hit the ground running with our direct approach to building business success.
Rebecca Marsh
Founder and Principal Consultant

Rebecca Marsh is the founder and principal consultant for plan4business.org.uk. She is a results driven, energetic leader, who is effective at driving and developing organisations to where they want to be through strategic planning and the design and implementation of best practice protocols. She is a confident manager, outcome focussed, who utilises pragmatic solutions and has delivered consistently throughout her career. Due to strong communication ability, she is capable of bringing diverse, often conflicting, stakeholders together to collectively deliver outcomes and work effectively in partnership, ensuring supreme client satisfaction. She is committed to and enjoys the challenges in undertaking business transformation.

Rebecca Marsh was appointed IPCC Commissioner by the Home Secretary in 2003 and reappointed in 2008.

Before joining the IPCC, Rebecca worked for the Guidance Accreditation Board Ltd (GAB) as the Board's Operations Manager. GAB was an independent accreditation body set up and funded by the DfES for quality assessment work.

Prior to her work at the GAB, Rebecca's work was in management, her specialism being quality and integrated management systems. During her career she has worked with various Government departments, such as DfES, DWP, DTI and the Environment Agency, and was a Principal Officer in the Chief Executive’s Department at Wolverhampton City Council for some years.

Rebecca also has experience as a board member of a number of small private sector companies and involvement with voluntary and community groups, such as the local Law Centre, where she was inaugural Treasurer, and Citizens Advice Bureau.  Since 2007 she has been a board member of the Local Better Regulation Office (LBRO).

In 1998 she joined Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Trust where she became the Deputy Chair and non-executive lead for Clinical Governance. She also had a role as Chair of Independent Review Panels in the NHS complaints system before joining the Trust.

Rebecca has just finished a seccondment to the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and does not have operational responsibility.  She remained an IPCC Commissioner, however, until the end of her term in Autumn 2013.
